Sefton Village - the Works
The work of Sefton Village is very diverse and far reaching in its vision and aims.

Katriona M Graham Learning Centre               Helga Mosey Children's Home              Sefton Bible Training Centre

The Helga Mosey Children's Home

was officially opened in 1994 and was funded by money donated by the family and friends of Helga Mosey, a young lady tragically killed in the Lockerbie air disaster in 1988.
the children's home is registered as a home for the temporary shelter of abandoned, neglected and orphaned children and all of the children have many needs.
the ultimate aim is that as many of the children as possible are eventually reunited with their families but where this is not possible the children are put forward for adoption.
the finance to run the HMCH comes through child sponsorships and monthly donations.

The Katriona M Graham Learning Centre

Opened in 1999.  It was funded by Mr and Mrs Graham from Labert, Scotland in memory of their daughter, Katriona.
is a nursery school offering Nursery, Kinder 1 and Kinder 2 classes.  Due to huge demand the school was extended in 2002 and now offers 6 classes a day, which is attended by 120 children daily.
the 6 members of staff are all committed Christians and are dedicated to the children they teach.
 the children come mainly from low income families.  The parents truly value the opportunity to send their children to a school, which is not only affordable, but is of the highest standard.
the school also has the opportunity to minister into the families through a weekly bible study, many parents come to ask for prayer for their own needs.
the school is well known in the local area and the team "give God the Glory for the wonderful things He is doing".

Sefton Bible Training Centre

opened in September 1998.
the course currently consists of 4 modules that lasts for 9 months.
as well as classroom based training the students do a 3 month placement in a local church.
Mark is the Principle of the Centre and Abe Alipda, a Filipino, is the Dean of Students.
the complex consists of an office block, accommodation for the dean and his family, a dining room, kitchen block, accommodation for up to 64 students, a chapel that seats up to 350, classrooms and a library.
in May 2003 the 8th batch of students graduated, the school has now trained 130 students and a large percentage are working effectively for God in the ministry.
the students are on the front line of church planting in the area.  God gave the team the vision that their students would reach the nations and in March 2003 SBTC sent their first missionary out to the field, her name is Glenda - pray that she will be the first of many missionaries to go out from SBTC.
