Emmanuel Christian Fellowship

History

The Assemblies of God Pentecostal Church in Lerwick, which is now known as Emmanuel Christian Fellowship, began in 1958 with a small nucleus of like-minded Christians, who had encountered the things of the Spirit and were hungry for more.

This group established links with the Assemblies of God (AOG).  Each fellowship within the AOG is autonomous in its own right and over the years, much benefit has been received due to the input of many visiting AOG Pastors, Home Missions Workers, Evangelist and Missionaries.

The development of these web pages are ongoing and we would welcome any additional information or photographs relating to the Church's early days.  If you can provide any additional information or photographs, then please e-mail    samleckie@yahoo.co.uk
