DTS Course Dates.

The next DTS Course will begin on (to be announced).

Generally speaking, the courses are run on a Thursday night and a Sunday night.

Wednesday nights start at 19:30 and Sunday nights at 18:00.

DTS Course Contents.

There are a number of books that are recommended for the DTS course.  Only one book entitled "The Father Heart of God" by Floyd McClung is required reading for the course.

DTS Course Costs

The fees for the course are all negotiable and can be paid in 3 parts.

Included in the cost is all the teaching materials (books, files and viewing of videos.

Full course:                                                                           £50.00

For those at school or in full-time education                  £30.00

For those who are unemployed or on low income           £30.00

Q.  Who is the course designed for?

A.  Everyone over the age of 16.

Q.   How long does the course last for?

A.   Usually for a period of some 10 weeks.

Q.   What is the aim of the course?

A.   The aim of the course is to (i) bless people, (ii) to enable them to continue to grow in God, (iii) to deepen their walk with Him and (iv) to discover Him anew as their Father, (v) to equip them for evangelism and (vi) inspire them in the use of their spiritual giftings.

Q.   Where is the course held?

A.  The course is held at Emmanuel Christian Fellowship, Bank Lane, Lerwick, Shetland.

Q.  What is the cost of the course?

A.   The fees for the course are all negotiable and can be paid in 3 parts.  Included in the cost is all the teaching materials (books, files and viewing of videos.  Full course is 50.00, for those at school or in full-time education it is £30.00 and for those who are unemployed or on low income it is £30.00.

Q.   Who runs the course?

A.   The course is run by volunteers, who give freely of their time and have themselves completed and benefited from the course.

Q.  What activities will I be required to undertake during DTS?

A.  The course requires a commitment to regular attendance, reading a book, watching videos, group discussions and some written course work.

Q. Where did the course originate?

A. YWAM (Youth With A Mission) founded the course.

Q.  Is there any follow up to DTS?

A.  There is usually an opportunity following the course, to travel to the UK mainland, in order to participate in an organised outreach event.
